Miss James Charters provides Full-Day and Half-Day Fishing or Sunset Cruising Charters on the Chesapeake Bay around Tilghman Island and it's Tributaries. Miss James Charters can accommodate up to 6 people max for Corporate, Family, or Personal Charters.

No Maryland Fishing license is required while fishing on the Miss James II.

Gratuity and Tips

If you are fishing with Miss James Charters for Rock Fish we will clean and fillet your catch as part of your fishing charter. There is no charge for cleaning the fish, and this task is performed by the Captain and/or 1st Mate together.

We often get asked what a customary tip would be for a fishing charter: The Captain and 1st Mate do work hard, and tips are always appreciated and never expected. That said, tipping is a large part of the income a Captain and 1st Mate earn, and happy patrons will often tip 15% to 25% of the total cost of the fishing charter.

First timers are as welcome as are those who are seasoned in fishing as Miss James Charters will take you through every step of the Rock Fish fishing experience in a patient and detailed walk-through as Captain Jerry and First Mate Teresa will gladly bring you from novice to experienced in no time aboard the Miss James II.
